Essay 2 must: • be 3 to 4 pages • adhere to MLA format • contain quote integrations, in-text citations, and a Works Cited page Using no less than 2 but no more than 3 of the stories read so far this semester, analyze how selected characters both reinforce and subvert gender norms. Do NOT analyze every character in the stories you’ve chosen. Only select the characters you are both interested in and feel are the most complex. Each character you choose must BOTH reinforce and subvert gender norms.
