Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to provide the student with an opportunity to demonstrate analytical thinking and scholarly writing skills in developing a personal philosophy of nursing based on caring science. In addition to a title and reference pages, a minimum of two references from a caring science-based nurse theorist or theorists is needed in the body of the paper. Correct APA format is required. The paper should be a minimum of four pages with proper references, including citations in the body of the text with appropriately cited examples from article utilizing APA format to illustrate understanding of topic. Do not use more than one direct quote. Instead: Learn to paraphrase, then cite the author  and year in parentheses. provide a concluding paragraph to the overall paper.
