1. Over the course of this program, my attitude towards including aspects of health literacy in my teaching practices has undergone a significant transformation. Initially, I viewed health literacy as an optional component, merely an add-on to my lessons. However, as I delved deeper into the course material and engaged in discussions with my peers, I came to realize the critical role that health literacy plays in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.

I began to understand that health literacy goes beyond the ability to comprehend written information.
