Throughout this module, I gained a deeper understanding of the crucial role that effective communication plays in fostering a strong nurse-patient relationship. Clear and empathetic communication is essential for establishing trust and rapport with patients, as well as for promoting patient safety and satisfaction. I learned that effective communication involves not only verbal exchanges but also active listening, non-verbal cues, and the ability to adapt communication styles to meet the diverse needs of patients.
In my work environment, I have witnessed how effective communication positively impacts patient outcomes.
