Throughout this course, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the vital role community health nurses play in promoting and maintaining the health of individuals, families, and communities. By engaging in various readings, participating in discussions, and completing assignments, I have acquired knowledge about the core principles and functions of community health nursing. This includes assessing the health needs of the community, planning and implementing appropriate interventions, and evaluating the outcomes of these interventions. Moreover, I have learned about the importance of collaboration with other healthcare professionals and community partners to maximize the impact of nursing interventions. By applying these concepts in case studies and in-class discussions, I have personally met this course objective.

Objective 2: Analyze the impact of aging bias on the health and well-being of older adults.

The topic of aging bias has been eye-opening, as it has highlighted the negative consequences of ageism on the health and well-being of older adults.
