However, the demands placed on supervisors can be extensive, requiring a diverse set of skills, competencies, and leadership qualities.

One of the primary responsibilities of a supervisor is to provide direction and set clear expectations for employees. Effective supervisors have a clear vision for their department or team and are able to communicate this vision effectively to their subordinates. They set achievable goals and provide guidance and support to help employees meet these goals.
