Throughout my experiences this quarter, I had the opportunity to interact with various professions and witness firsthand the challenges and benefits of interprofessional teamwork. In this reflection, I will discuss the professions I encountered, the challenges we faced as a team, the ways in which interprofessional knowledge enhanced the status of the clients or population we served, and the potential impact this experience may have on my future practice.
To begin, I had the privilege of working alongside professionals from multidisciplinary backgrounds. This included doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technicians, public health officials, and social workers, among others.
