In this course, I anticipate gaining a comprehensive understanding of the essential skills and competencies required for nursing practice with adults. Furthermore, I expect to enhance my knowledge and proficiency in providing holistic care to adult patients, integrating evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making. I look forward to deepening my understanding of the physiological and psychological changes that occur in adults, as well as developing advanced assessment and diagnostic skills specific to this population.
Strengths and Challenges in Nursing Practice Competencies:
As a nurse, I possess several strengths that enable me to excel in nursing practice competencies when working with adults. First and foremost, my strong communication skills allow me to establish therapeutic relationships with patients and effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
