This course is important to me because it provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to understand and utilize pharmacological interventions in my practice. As an FNP, I will frequently encounter situations where pharmacotherapy is a key component of patient care. Therefore, it is essential for me to possess a solid understanding of pharmacology to safely and effectively prescribe medications based on the individual’s unique needs.
