Introduction:
In the last week, I have focused on conducting research on the topic of maternal mental health as part of my PhD capstone project. This research aims to explore the various factors that influence maternal mental health and to identify effective interventions for promoting positive maternal mental health outcomes. During this week, I have encountered both successes and challenges in carrying out my research activities. In this reflection, I will discuss what has gone well, the difficulties I have faced, the current questions I have regarding my capstone topic, and my plans for researching the answers to these questions.
Successes:
One of the notable achievements during this week was the successful completion of a comprehensive literature review on maternal mental health. The literature review involved carefully selecting relevant research articles, extracting key information, and synthesizing the findings to develop a comprehensive understanding of the state of knowledge in the field. This process allowed me to identify key themes and research gaps, which will inform the direction of my capstone research. Another success was the successful arrangement of interviews with experts in the field of maternal mental health.
