Reflective Journal: Integrating Leadership and Inquiry into Current Practice
Introduction:
This reflective journal is an opportunity to integrate leadership and inquiry into my current practice. It will allow me to reflect on the personal knowledge and skills I have gained during this course and address a combination of various topics including new practice approaches, intraprofessional collaboration, healthcare delivery and clinical systems, ethical considerations in healthcare, population health concerns, the role of technology in improving healthcare outcomes, health policy, leadership and economic models, and health disparities. In this journal, I will outline my discoveries about my professional practice, identify my personal strengths and weaknesses that have surfaced, explore additional resources and abilities that could be introduced to influence optimal outcomes in a given situation, and discuss how I have met the competencies aligned with this course.
New Practice Approaches:
Throughout this course, I have gained a deep understanding of new practice approaches that can enhance patient care and outcomes. I have learned about evidence-based practice and the importance of basing clinical decision-making on the best available evidence. By incorporating research findings into my practice, I can ensure that I am providing the most effective and efficient care to my patients.
